Here is a capsulized look at the Mitchell College softball team

Last year’s record: 14-19-1 (9-9 GNAC)
2025 Postseason: Lost to Regis, 13-11, in the GNAC Play-in Game.
2026 Current Record: 2-6
Key Players Returning: Olivia DiCicco, Sr., P-2B; Cassandra Roman, Sr., SS-3B; Kaylee Drago, Sr., OF; Brooke Clancy, Jr., 1B; Madison Cole, Jr., C-Util.; Haley Westfall, Jr., 3B-1B.
Top Newcomers: Zoe Batterby, Jr., OF/1B (Transfer from Community College of Rhode Island), Arianna Drouin, Fr., P-IF; Christina Aneiro, Fr., P-OF; Izzy Fall, Fr., C-3B; Emma Boisseau, Fr., Util.; Camryn Russo, Fr., Util.; Tess Frager, Fr., P-Util.
Outlook: It’s definitely a new-look Mitchell College softball team this spring as the Mariners saw nine players department the program in addition to a new head coach taking over. LeBreck, however, is no stranger to Mitchell. She played for the Mariners and was an assistant coach for the program, as well. A new crop of six freshmen have joined the team, as well. The biggest question mark for the team might be in the circle as its two top pitchers last season graduated. The Mariners were picked to finish fifth in the seven team GNAC-South Division. Connecticut players on the roster include: Roman (New London), Drago (Danbury), Clancy (East Haven), and Aneiro (North Branford).
Coach’s Comment: ““I’m super hopeful and looking forward to the season ahead. We have a really strong group of returning players, and the incoming class has been constantly showing up and giving 110 percent.”
