This week’s CT Softball Blog Players’ Top 10 Poll remains unchanged from a week ago, save for the points moving around a bit.
While Cheshire, Masuk and Foran still remain as the Top 3 three teams, it is the Green Wave of New Milford who continued to attract the voter’s attention, closing in to a single point of Foran for the third spot.
The voters have also proven one other thing: A loss doesn’t mean a free fall in the standings.
Last week, Darien lost to Trumbull by a 1-0 score and St. Paul Catholic lost its first game of the season by a 9-7 score to No. 4 New Milford. Both the Blue Wave and Falcons remain in the Top 10, however.
