NEW CANAAN—The St. Luke’s School Storm won its third straight Fairchester Athletic Association championship on Friday, topping the Hopkins School by a 7-2 score.
Makenna Woodfork slammed two solo home runs and scored three runs to pace the St. Luke’s offense. Lucia Biasotti added a home run and two RBIs while Zoe Malkoun had a pair of hits.
Caroline D’Onofrio, who pitched a perfect game in the semifinals, added a double.
D’Onofrio gave up two runs in this one, scattering seven hits. She struck out 10 and didn’t walk anybody.
For Hopkins School of New Haven, Ariel Adams and A’nai Alvarez had two hits each. Adams, who doubled, and Hana Beauregard both drove in runs.
Beauregard scattered eight hits, striking out seven while walking a better.
Both teams are wrapping up their season this weekend with the Western New England Prep School tournament.
