Three of the four SWC semifinalists have been decided as the top three seeds—New Milford, Brookfield and Masuk—all advanced with easy wins over their respective opponents on Friday.
No. 1 New Milford topped No. 8 New Fairfield 6-0; No. 2 Brookfield bested Bunnell 12-0; and No. 3 Masuk rolled to a 13-1 win over Pomperaug.
On Saturday, Notre Dame Prep is hosting Newtown in the last quarterfinal game.
Here’s a look at the games that were played on Friday:

NEW MILFORD 6, NEW FAIRFIELD 0
Sophomore pitcher Lydia Rocky fired a one-hitter to help get the Green Wave into the semifinals. She struck out 12 and walked one.
Offensively, the Green Wave only managed four hits off New Fairfield starter Sarah Ottush (3 Ks, 4 walks), but Cienna McNamara was 2-for-3 with two runs scored and three RBIs, including a home run. Rocky (2 RBIs) and Carly Coloneri had the other hits while Grace Staller had an RBI, as well.
Lindsey Briggs had the lone hit for the Rebels.

BROOKFIELD 12, BUNNELL 0
Sydney Miller fired a 5-inning one-hitter, striking out 15 without surrendering a single walk as the Bobcats moved on.
Brookfield pounded out 15 hits in support of their pitcher. While Miller aided her own cause with a home run, Lila Conrad was 3-for-4 with two runs and an RBI; Olivia Sinapi was 2-for-4 with three runs scored and a solo home run; Mary Aurrichio was 2-for-4 with a run and 2 RBIs), Emma Ferguson (1 run) was 2-for-3, and Addasyn Coutts (1 run, 1 RBI) was 2-for-3. Coutts had two doubles while Conrad, Aurrichio and Samantha Aurrichio all had doubles. Haylie Miller (2 RBIs) also had a triple.
Kira Bryant had the lone hit for Bunnell.

MASUK 13, POMPERAUG 1
Mary Saunders fired a five-inning one-hitter, striking out 11 and walking one to lead the Panthers to the win.
Masuk pounded out 13 hits in the game with Ciena Perpetuo, Grace Ely and Josie Lieto all hitting home runs. Ely (2-for-4, 2 runs, 2 RBIs) and Lieto (2-for-3, 3 RBIs, 1 run) had multiple hits in the game while Perpetuo hit a solo home run.
Saunders also had two hits for Masuk, a single and a double, while Gigi Moretti had two singles. Peyton Webb also had a double.
For Pomperaug, Corine Sartor had a double.
THE SEMIFINALS
While the field won’t be complete until after Notre Dame Prep and Newtown meet today, we do know the winner of the game will face top-seeded New Milford on Tuesday at DeLuca Field in Stratford.
Brookfield will face Masuk in the other game.
