As we head into the postseason, a few changes occured in our CT Softball Blog Top 10 Players’ poll.
A couple of teams shifted, one dropped out and a new team joined the top 10, as well.
Cheshire, the state’s lone undefeated team, remains an unanimous No. 1 pick in front of No. 2 New Milford.
In the third and fourth sports, meanwhile, Brookfield and Masuk flip-flopped spots, thanks in part to the Bobcats’ big win over the Panthers late in the season.
Foran and St. Paul were tied for the fifth spot, while Southington, North Branford and Darien found themselves in spots 7-8-9.
Making their CT Softball Blog Top 10 debut was Mercy, which used a late season surged to make it to the SCC semifinals.
