TRUMBULL—Maren Jones and Kylie Lucia, two rising Trumbull High School senior softball players, received the second annual CT Timberwolves travel program’s college scholarships for 2025.

The pair were honored following Monday’s benefit golf tournament that the Timberwolves hold to raise money for the scholarship.

“These student-athletes have been a tremendous asset to our program in helping our organization get the best training possible,” the Timberwolves said in a Facebook post. “They have donated their time and energy beyond what was expected.”

Jones and Lucia helped lead the senior-less Eagles team to the FCIAC semifinals this past spring. Both players were All-FCIAC First Team selections, as well.
