Rain was the real winner today as many of Wednesday’s games were either moved to Tuesday or pushed to another day.
That being said a handful of games were played and here’s the rundown of those who dodged the raindrops:
St. Paul Catholic 19, Wilby 0
Sophomore pitcher Peighton Giambra fired a 5-inning perfect game as the Falcons defeated Wilby on Wednesday.
Giambra struck out 13 of the 15 batters she faced in the win. She also had two hits and scored two runs. Stella Boucino drove in four runs with a home run while Madison Clayton plated three runs. Sydney Yanavich, Lily McCulloch and Isabella McCulloch all drove in two runs each.
