The top four seeds in the Shoreline Athletic Conference quarterfinals won on Friday to advance to the semifinals.
Here’s a rundown on Friday’s quarterfinals:

Lyme-Old Lyme 4, Valley Regional 2
In a wild seventh inning that saw Valley Regional take a 2-1 lead in the top of the inning, Lyme-Old Lyme walked it off in the bottom of the seventh with a three-run inning of its own.
Vicky Glaras’ two-run home run ended it with one out in the bottom of the seventh. Mia Bonatti, who tied the game at 2-2 with a pinch-hit single, scored in front of her.
Avery Goiangos had two hits, including a double for LOL. She was also the winning pitcher, giving up just three hits. She struck out 10, but did walk seven.
For Valley Regional, Brooke Ouellette, Juliana Spencer and Amelia Giantonio had the hits. Giantonio also had an RBI as did Carley Spearrin. Paige Williams struck out seven and didn’t walk anybody.

Hale-Ray 4, Coginchaug 0
Lily Jahne fired a three-hit shutout to lead the Noises into the semifinals. Jahne struck out 16 and walked just one to get the win.
Offensively, it was Hale-Ray’s No. 9 hitter, Jaymarie Woods, who got things going as she went 3-for-3 with two runs scored. She also had a double. Fenway Jankowski, PJ Riccio and Jahne had RBIs while Faith Kalisz had a double.
For Coginchaug, Bella Tosto had two hits, including a double. Tanya Adams had the other, another double.
Kennedy Painter pitched well for Coginchaug, giving up the four runs while scattering eight hits. She struck out 7 and walked two.

Haddam-Killingworth 1, Cromwell 0
Mady Swiss singled home Teagan Hollman in the second inning, giving H-K that only run it would need while advancing to the next round.
Emma Giaccone was sharp in the circle for HK. She went the distance, giving up just three hits. She struck out 10 and walked just one.
In addition to Swiss’s single, Grace Natanzon, Giaccone and Kacey McMahon all singled for Haddam-Killingworth.
For Cromwell, Harper Langdon, Addy Jupe and Teaghan Miller had singles. Ell Wren was in the circle and pitched well, giving up just one unearned run. She struck out four and didn’t walk anybody.
North Branford 13, East Hampton 0
Lauren Vitarisi threw a 5-inning one-hitter, striking out 10, to lead the top-seeded Thunderbirds to the win.
Alia Martone was 3-for-3 with three runs scored and two RBIs while Ava Rysczyk matched Martone with a 3-for-3 effort and two RBIs, but she only scored twice. Addy Wyatt plated four, going 2-for-3 with two runs scored, too. Wyatt had a triple and a home run while Martone had two doubles and Ryszczyk tripled.
For East Hampton, Kylie Bigelow had the lone hit.
THE SEMIFINALS
North Branford will face Lyme-Old Lyme in one semifinal on Tuesday while Hale-Ray will host Haddam-Killingworth in the other. Game times are TBA.
