The Darien High School Blue Wave, the de facto “FCIAC Regular Season Champs” after earning the No. 1 seed for the conference tournament, only had three players named All-FCIAC.
Only one of those three players—junior standout Vivian Knott—was named either first or second team with the other two receiving honorable mention nods.
Trumbull led the way with six players honored, including two first teamers and two second-team choices, while New Canaan and St. Joseph saw five players honored.
In fact, the Rams, the tournament’s No. 4 seed, had three first-team selections.
