For the first time this season, Cheshire is the unanimous No. 1 team in the state, according to the CT Softball Blog’s Top-10 Poll.

Fifteen players from around the state picked the Rams as the top team, giving them a perfect score of 150 points. Cheshire has been No. 1 since the preseason poll, but this is the first time the Rams have garnered all the first-place votes.

New Milford continued its search up the Top 10, moving into second place with 129 points after last week’s big win over Masuk, 2-0.

Masuk dropped to third ahead of Foran (92 points) and Brookfield (82).

Southington (63), North Branford (56), Darien (35), St. Paul Catholic (31) and Woodland Regional (29) round out the top 10.

All 10 of last week’s Top 10 remain there, only in different positions.
