The Danbury Hatters beat New Canaan, 6-5, on Wednesday, in a game that had been suspended by rain the day before, to create a four-way logjam of teams at 12-3 in conference play.

While Vivian Knott and the Darien Blue Wave had already sewn up the No. 1 spot with a 13-2 FCIAC mark, Danbury, New Canaan, Trumbull and St. Joseph all finished 12-3 in the league.

Trumbull and Danbury went 2-1 against the other three teams in tie-breaker scenario while New Canaan and Trumbull went 1-2.

Danbury topped Trumbull and New Canaan beat St. Joseph so the second through six seeds are going to be Danbury, Trumbull, New Canaan and St. Joseph in that order.

Ridgefield (11-4), Fairfield Warde (9-6) and Fairfield Ludlowe (9-6) had secured the final three spots. Warde had bested Ludlowe in their regular season matchup.
